You sighed, watching outside your window, it was a boring day, it was snowing outside and all of your friends were playing in the snow, everyone except for you.

You had flue so your mom said you had to stay home, meanwhile your twin brother Mike was playing in your garden.

But you weren't looking at your brother, you were looking at Andrew, a guy from your science classe, he was Mike's friend, but you and him never really talked.

You had a massive crush on Andrew, none knew , you were ashamed, because if someone found out you were gay, it would've been terrible.

You heard a soft knock on the door, and someone open it, you turned around to see your big sister, Nancy, on the door with a mug in her hand.

<<I made you hot chocolate, since you are sick>> She smiled placing it on your desk.

<<Thanks Nancy>> You smiled.

<<Nothing>> She sat on the bed next to you.

<<Do you feel better?>> She asked after some seconds.

<<Yeah, I feel good>> You forced a smile.

<<I feel like something is wrong with you y/n, and I am not talking about the flue, you're quite and you look always sad>> She said looking at you, but you avoided the eye contact.

<<There's something... I don't know how to tell you, I mean it's a secret but I need to tell someone>> You explained.

<<Well, I am here y/n, talk to me, I'll always love you, no matter what >> She smiled.

<<Well... I like someone, but I don't know what to do, I mean it feels so wrong>> You said.

<<Well if you like someone you should go and tell her, maybe she likes you back, who's she by the way?>> You sighed, not knowing if you should tell her or not.

<<That's the problem Nancy, its not a "She" it's a "he">> You felt hot tears run on your cheeks.

<<Oh, so it's a boy?>> You nodded, you wanted to disappear, sure that Nancy hated you now, you felt naked, exposed.

<<Who's he then?>>

<<Andrew>> You sighed.

<<Mike's friend?>> You nodded again, wiping of some tears with your sleeve.

<<Y/n, it's fine, don't cry>> She smiled rubbing your back.

<<Its fine?>> You asked looking at her, confused.

<<Yeah, I mean, its not easy, but it's not wrong, and you shouldn't be ashamed of it, if you like boys or girls or whatever you like it's fine, because you are you and you're following your heart.>> She smiled.

<<So you don't hate me now?>>

<<Why should I? You're still my little brother, and don't tell Mike and Holly, but you're my favourite. >> She chuckled, making you smile.

<<And plus I think that Andrew likes you back, every time he comes here and you aren't home he's always like: "where's y/n?>> She added.

<<Really?!>>

<<Yep, you should totally talk to him>> You smiled at her, but after a few seconds you started coughing hard.

<<Ok well maybe tomorrow, you can't go out like that>> You both laughed.

Summary: Cook says to himself that he isn't gay, until he meets you.

Cook was the type of guy who gets into fights for girls, who hook up with girls, who flirts with every girl he could.

He isn't gay, that's what he says to himself everyday "I am not gay, I like girls", until you arrive at school.

You moved in their city and since then you became friend with Freddy, Effy, Emily and the others, and obviously with Cook.

At first Cook thought you were a cool guy, a good friend, but soon he realised he liked you, and for that he hated himself.

Every time he saw you, he fell for you even harder, he didn't even know why, he never had feelings toward guys.

But he thought you were straight as a line, he thought you had a crush on Effy, you were always around her.

Until one day he found you kissing a guy, he was your new boyfriend, the only ones who knew were Effy, Freddy and Emily, and now Cook.

<<Wait y/n, you're gay?>> He asked, you nodded.

<<This is my boyfriend, Robbie>> You told him.

<<Oh, ok...>> He said, he was jealous, why Robbie? And not him?

After 2 months of dating you and Robbie broke up, he cheated on you with some other guy.

When you told Cook, he said none could cheat on his bestfriend, so he went up to Robbie and beat him up, without you knowing, he took some punches too, but he totally gave Robbie what he deserved.

When you saw Cook with a black eye and blood on his for head you were worried, took care of him.

<<You didn't have to do that>> You said wiping off the blood.

<<I don't care y/n, he deserved it>>

You were forced by your friends to spend one night together, to forget Robbie.

By midnight everyone was drunk, except for you and Cook.

You two were sitting on the couch, Cook was smoking some weed and laughing at some of your jokes.

At some point Cook looked at your lips, you were so close and none was paying attention, so you leaned in and kissed him.

When you realized, you immediately broke the kiss.

<<Sorry Cook, I don't know why I- >> He stopped you by kissing you again.

And with that night you started dating, crazy, James Cook wasn't straight, that was everyone thought when they saw you around.

Cook was some inches shorter than you and he liked to hide his face in your chest, and if some jerk shouted at you from their car, things like "faggots", Cook was ready to beat them up.
