What were you like in high school?
In high school, I was just shy and quiet. I was nice and polite. I had some friends. There was really nothing much beyond that
What is your greatest fear? What do you do to address it?
My greatest fear is losing my independence and freedom. I haven't really done much to address it
Was there a time in your life where you felt you hit rock bottom? What was the situation behind it?
Yes. It was when I was beat so bad by my wife, I had to have surgery. After I recovered from surgery , I had her arrested, she got sent to prison, and I divorced her. I had such a bad marriage experience, at that point, I decided I would remain single the rest of my life. I didn't want to have to go through that again
Where would you put yourself on the social spectrum, and why?
Interestingly, even though I'm quite shy, I definitely have a people orientation, and I sort of like to be with people, and talk to people , to some degree, so I'm going to go with ambivert
What are some things that really bother you?
It bothers me when people try to control me, or tell me what to do; when people don't take me seriously, and when people try to take advantage of me
What, would you say, are your biggest strengths?
Understanding people, being non-judgmental, and listening
What, would you say, are your biggest weaknesses?
Being stubborn and set in my ways
When you switch your attitude between introverted and extroverted, or vise versa, what are you like?
When I'm extroverted, I'm much more energetic and impulsive. I tend to be more passionate about things too, when I'm extroverted
What was the hardest thing you ever had to do? Why was it so hard?
I think the hardest thing I ever had to do was stand up for myself. It was hard, because I want to appear as this really nice person , not as someone mean and angry. But if getting mean and angry is what I have to do for people to not walk all over me, I'll do it
What are you like when you're sad?
When I'm sad, I cry in private, often with someone I trust, to comfort me
How masculine/feminine do you feel in relation to others of your gender?
I feel a normal amount of masculine energy, so I'd say I'm probably average
Here's 4 focuses you can have in life: tasks, people, objects and ideas. Which one would be your primary focus and why? Which one would be your secondary focus and why?
I'd say objects first. I'm all about playing drums and percussion for a major label band. It's the first and foremost emphasis of my life. My second is definitely people, if I haven't already made that clear
What do you do to have fun?
I like to work out or go out in nature. I consider both those things to be fun, especially going out in nature, because I love doing that alone, and alone time helps me recharge. I don't find it draining
What was the nicest thing you ever did for someone, and why did you do it?
The nicest thing I ever did was for my fellow band mate. I protected her from someone who was obsessed with her in an unhealthy way, and stalking her. I did it because she's a dear friend of mine, and even though she was planning to marry someone else, I still cared about her as a friend. I certainly wouldn't have wanted anyone to harm her. Anyway, her stalker called me on the phone while the band was all together in the studio. I told her stalker she wasn't at the studio, even though she was. I told her to leave the studio immediately. About a half hour after she left, her stalker came, and saw she was not there. He left. I had her come back
