DISC: D/C profile, result: C/D/S, slot 55
SOJT type: S-t (D>A, undifferentiated attitude)
MBTI type most resonant: ISTP
What were you like in high school?
I just kind of existed in high school. I had a few friends. There was nothing special about me
What is your greatest fear? What do you do to address it?
I think I've overcome all my fears
Was there a time in your life where you felt you hit rock bottom? What was the situation behind it?
I never really hit rock bottom, but I did become the legal guardian of my then 14 year old half-brother at the age of 21. It was kind of an interesting experience, because I had to be like a father to him, and didn't get to do a lot of the things 21 year old men typically do. Somehow, through it all, I found a wife, and I am married now, and we have kids
Where would you put yourself on the social spectrum, and why?
I would say an introvert that's more extroverted than some, but still an introvert
What are some things that really bother you?
People being inconsistent and glaring errors or mistakes
What, would you say, are your biggest strengths?
I am highly reliable and consistent. You can count on me to follow through. I'm also accurate and efficient
What, would you say, are your biggest weaknesses?
Love and compassion don't come easily to me, and it's hard to open up with others
When you switch your attitude between introverted and extroverted, or vise versa, what are you like?
When I'm more extroverted , I'm louder and more rebellious
What was the hardest thing you ever had to do? Why was it so hard?
I think I already mentioned this. It was me becoming the legal guardian of my 14 year old half-brother at the age of 21. And I already mentioned why it was hard, as well
What are you like when you're sad?
I don't know. I can't ever remember being sad
How masculine/feminine do you feel in relation to others of your gender?
I'm average, or maybe slightly more masculine than average
Here's 4 focuses you can have in life: tasks, people, objects and ideas. Which one would be your primary focus and why? Which one would be your secondary focus and why?
Primary is objects. I love cooking, and made a career of it. I am not the head chef at my own restaurant. Second, I would say tasks. Without a secondary task focus, I might have lacked the discipline to make my career come to pass
What do you do to have fun?
I've got to learn how to have fun.
What was the nicest thing you ever did for someone, and why did you do it?
It was becoming my half-brother's guardian. I did it reluctantly, but the rewards were great. My half-brother and I are now very close.
Thank you, Charles, for sharing with us
