Did mallee ever have braces?
Used to in the old storyline, I scrapped it tho ‘cuz of Malee’s home life. I don’t think any adults cared or could afford to have her braced her teeth and young Malee was too busy playing tbh. So Technically her current design should have crooked teeth. It is a little charming but Malee doesn’t smile with her teeth so i didn’t get to draw it lol

what was malee and quinns initial meetup in his world like and how did it go down?
Quinn was living his life unaware for a short bit until he passed a soaked malee stuck at the bus station (very in character of her) and lent their umbrella. They recognized each other and assumed they’re each other childhood friend until they’re realized their memories were super blank and freaked out. They also came to noticed how weird “everyone” is and the rest is history 🤷♂️
Malee was severely mentally unprepared for the situation so Quinn put on this front of ✨optimism which kind of dazzled Malee off her feet hence the Doctor meme. They also don’t return to locations they’ve already been ‘cuz it’s likely flooded by then (kinda like running away from a slow tsunami!)
at the end, The sacrifice wasn’t entirely intentional on Quinn pov (unbeknownst to Malee who firmly believed Quinn died for her -> the aftermath nightmare), but when he tried to catchup the exit was already closed lol
