Doctor Whooves and Assistant Skit Contest!

Have you ever fantasized about having one of your ideas used in Doctor Whooves and Assistant?

Well now is your chance, because we’re holding a contest to allow fans to submit short scripts for skits, and the winners will have their skits dubbed and considered canonical to the series!

The deadline is midnight at New Years Pacific Standard Time, and we’ll decide on the winners in January! We will pick 3 winners!

When you submit your entry, we will post it here on this blog with credit given however you want.

To submit your entry:

-You must be 13 or older

-Must be written in a script format for audio. This means all actions must be conveyed through dialogue or sound effects, so “Derpy grins” won’t work but “Derpy, why are you grinning at me?” will. Our scripts look like this:

Derpy: I’m saying something!
Doctor: I’m saying something too!
[crashing noises]
Tick Tock: [annoyed] Who left this box of paper clips in my way?

-Skit must be anywhere from 5-10 minutes. To check this, try reading your script out loud!

-Any characters from DWnA are allowed, but be aware they might not get the same voice actors. No OCs please, canon MLP characters are allowed however but the skit MUST include DWnA characters.

-Keep things in character unless there’s an in-story reason for a character to be acting differently such as a mood altering spell

-Keep things PG

-Hinting at shipping is fine but no blatant shipping unless it’s already canon. (Pixel and Coral, basically) Sorry, as cute as Derpy kissing someone might be, we can’t really make it canon by someone else’s doing. A pony THINKING about a kiss might work though, if we know they have an interest in the other pony.

-You can submit up to 3 entries but if one wins the others can’t win

-Send an email to auldancelestial@gmail.com titled ‘Skit Contest’ and include how you want to be credited, either by a link or by a name. Submit your skit using google docs, attaching a document, or pasting it within the email itself.

The final week to submit entries is here!
