szpd flag concept

[ID: Two identical flags, one in the shape of a rectangle, and the other in the shape of a square. The flag has three sections. The top section is five horizontal stripes in grey scale from light grey to dark grey. A black line separates the top second from the middle section. The middle section is muted pastel colors, from left to right: yellow, green, blue-green, blue, and purple. Another black line separates the middle second from the bottom section. The bottom section looks the same as the top. /End ID]

Meaning:

  • the black lines represent the boundary and disconnect between pwSZPD and the world and other people.
  • the grey scale represents lack of interest in the world and other people, and feeling like it's tiring. it also represents the parts of pwSZPD we use to interact with the world and other people, and not feeling fully present. can also represent feelings of dissociation.
  • the pastel section represents our inner world. fantasy worlds pwSZPD use to replace the real world. but also the parts of us we keep hidden from the real world, like our emotions, etc. note that the color is still light and muted, aka, even though it's more colorful than the grey scale it's still dimmed.
