Learning is one of Samuel Siebu most valued pursuits. When he was a young man in Liberia, he went to St. Patrick's Catholic High School in Monrovia before continuing his education at Cuttington University College in Suakoko. Unfortunately, his schooling was hampered by civil unrest in his nation in the late 1980s. As a refugee, Siebu eventually made his way to Ghana, West Africa, to pursue schooling. After graduating from the KN University of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree, Siebu moved to Europe and settled in the Netherlands with the intention of receiving a master's degree. He picked up odd jobs doing anything from meat processing to garbage collecting on his way to graduate school.
