A/N: Dude!! I loved the request, thank you so much for sending it in, I had a lot of fun writing this and it gave me the perfect opportunity to dream about these boys during my study hall :D I hope you enjoy them!
DARRY CURTIS
- Darry is 100% the type of boyfriend who likes to roughhouse with you and I will stand by that statement until I die-
- But like in front of the boys? It’s a little iffy, he worries over them and plays such a leader role for most of them, he tries to stay serious around them
- If Darry doesn’t feel like roughhousing, he’ll just wrap his arms around you and hold you in place until you admit defeat
- When he wants to wrestle though, boy are you in for it- Darry holds back just enough to keep from hurting you but he’s strong and it really comes out when the two of you are playing around
- He’ll just scoop you up, spin you around, toss you onto the bed or couch, you’re like his little ragdoll <3
- Unless you manage to catch him by surprise, there’s a very good chance you’re losing and Darry’s going to end up having you pinned in like no time flat-
SODAPOP CURTIS
- Wrestling with Sodapop would be so much fun and I would totally wanna fool around with him if Two-Bit wasn’t an option!
- He’d just be so funny to play with, like I can just see the two of you, slowly circling each other and giggling while you’re waiting for someone to make the first move
- I just have this feeling that beating him wouldn’t be very hard? I can see him as the kind of guy who laughs so hard he can’t breathe and you can certainly taking advantage of that
- Pinning the other to the floor with a cocky smirk only to flipped beneath them and attacked by tickles-
- Pillow fights are probably something that happens a lot between the two of you, Ponyboy ends up complaining about the mess you made in their bedroom but it’s worth it
- If Sodapop wins, he’s gonna be proud of himself for a solid few days, puffing his chest out and flexing because he’s just that strong while you rolls your eyes fondly
PONYBOY CURTIS
- Ponyboy is 100% familiar with showing affection through play-fighting, he’s got all the older boys and his brothers tussling with him every now and then so he’s got the concept
- Usually? He’s pretty fast, lightning quick reflexes and super good at slipping out of whatever hold you manage to get on him
- He’d take it easy until you show him that you don’t need to be treated like glass? That doesn’t make sense, apologies-
- Just like, if he’s going easy on you, just pin him and give him a smirk, asking if he’s ready to fight for real this time around
- Ponyboy is the kind of boyfriend who will make you pause mid-fight just to tell you that he thinks you’re beautiful and I know I’m right about this
- Like you could literally be in the middle of a fight on the ground and he’ll just stop, his green eyes bright and a smile on his face and tell you he thinks you’re gorgeous
DALLAS WINSTON
- I feel like I’ve talked about Dally too, no idea whether it was it’s own thing or if I just talked about him wrestling with an S/O before-
- It’s a hit or miss sort of situation? Like either you’re going to playfight, or you’re not, there’s really no in between-
- If you’re in a public place, any and all of your attempts to start something will be shut down, either with a few words, a glare, or simply by Dally picking you up and tossing you over his shoulder
- If you’re behind closed doors, just the two of you hanging out together, your chances for a good match are a lot better, Dally’s better at showing his more playful and sweet sides when you’re alone
- Unless you win for real, don’t expect Dallas to submit to your attempts to pin him, he’s going to try with all he’s got to beat you
- Trying with his all doesn’t mean hurting you, he knows when to not, but he’s not above pinning your limbs so you have no choice but to give up
JOHNNY CADE
- Johnny’s either a hard yes for play fighting or it’s a hard no, like he’s either all in or not in at all
- He’s got a rough homelife, he gets beat up at home, it’s canon, and after that one bad jump by the Socs, he’s a little skittish sometimes, that’s just how it is in canon guys
- So trying to surprise him by fighting isn’t always a great idea, just gently pepper a few punches over his ribs or something, tug at his sleeves or do something small to let him know what you want
- Surprisingly strong? Like you wouldn’t think it, but Johnny’s got some muscle and is actually quite able to push you back when you try to come after him
- I have a feeling that he’d let you win, even after you tell him not to take it easy, it’s a gentlemanly thing to do and Johnny likes seeing the smile on your face
- He doesn’t mind losing to you, even on the occasions where you guys fight without holding back, he’s not going to whine and complain like Dally or Steve would, he just kind of rolls with it and moves on with his life <3
TWO-BIT MATHEWS
- So I’ve talked about wrestling with Two-Bit a little before, I think it was with @ponyboys-sunset? But yeah, you’re right Nonny, it was a discussion we’ve had but I’ll expand a little-
- Two-Bit likes to roughhouse, it’s just in his personality, he’s got a lot of energy and what’s a better way to get it out than through playful wrestling?
- He’s gentle though, especially if he’s got a height and weight advantage over you, but not gentle in the infuriating way!
- It’s more of he knows where the lines are and he won’t pass them out of respect for you boundaries, the intention of keeping you uninjured, and for the sake of just having fun
- Occasionally, Two-Bit’ll let you win and pin him to the floor but be prepared for a few comments and jokes out of his mouth in reply <3 when you pin him for real though, my boy loses his mind-
- When he doesn’t let you win though, and he manages to defeat you, expect some soft teasing, followed up by a few soft kisses so you know he’s only joking
STEVE RANDLE
- I cannot even begin to tell you how excited Steve would be when he realizes that his S/O is into showing affection through play fighting, like there are no words to describe his excitement-
- Like this boy? Has so much energy? He’s like Sodapop, but only a little bit better, and always wants to be doing something, he’s gotta have his hands busy with something
- Wrestling with you quickly becomes one of his favorite things, probably passing cars and chocolate cake on his list of favorite things
- If he wins, he claims that his prize must be a kiss and will pester you until you give him what he deems an appropriate amount of lovin <3
- Steve is such a poor loser though, he doesn’t like to admit when he’s wrong so I recommend lording your wins over him just enough to rub his nose in it a little bit
- Typically, when he loses, Steve’s going to whine and beg you for a rematch, he doesn’t like losing, not even to you, and will do whatever he can to get you to wrestle with him again so he can win this time around
TIM SHEPARD
- I’m a firm believer that Tim is flat-footed as all get out, but he’s strong so he tends to lean into his just brute strength to win fights-
- His reflexes aren’t the quickest? So if you catch him off-guard, you’ve already got a decent chance of winning
- Like his younger brother, he’s got sort of the lanky vibe going, but he’s a little wider in his chest and has broader shoulders <3
- Tim, like Dally, has certain times where he’s willing to playfight with you, it’s mostly behind closed doors but he doesn’t care if his siblings see the two of you!
- Every fight is a fair fight, Tim won’t necessarily go easy on you but there are a few general things that neither of you do-
- Biting and face shots are off-limits, as is kicking with the intention to hurt and grabbing at hair! This is just play wrestling for pete’s sake, real violence is reserved for rumbles and people who’ve done wrong
CURLY SHEPARD
- Curly, arguably, would be one of the best boys to wrestle with and I’m going to tell you exactly why I think so-
- He’s got this lanky vibe going on? Tall and kind of thin, but he’s deceptively strong though, not jacked but he’s definitely got muscles
- And god he’s fast too, whether it’s from running from the cops so much or just something he’s good at in general, Curly’s quick on his feet
- Curly’s not going to let you win, unless you really need the satisfaction of a win, and he’s not going to really take it easy on you either-
- The two of you are gonna roughhouse and you’re going to do it the right way and whoever wins gets to hold the bragging rights until they lose! That’s just the way it is, those are the rules of playing when it comes to Curly
- Curly is definitely a cheater though, he likes to run his mouth to distract you and attack you where your’re most ticklish so he can beat you easier, I suggest turning his methods of cheating back onto him
