Sketching Together

A/N: Short and sweet, hope you enjoy it!

“Are you done yet?” Y/N asked, leaning forward as they tried to see what Ponyboy had been so dedicated to for the past ten minutes. “You’ve been working on that forever.”

“’M not done yet,” Pony replied. He gently pushed them further towards the edge of his bed with a socked foot as he added a few more strokes to the drawing. “Almost done.”

Their shoulders fell a little as they pouted, pushing their bottom lip out in the hopes Ponyboy would glance up and take pity on them. He didn’t take any pity on them, but he did glance up and blush under their gaze before returning to his sketch.

“Almost done,” he promised. “Just gimme a minute.”

A minute ended up turning into five and by the time Ponyboy finished, Y/N had sprawled out along the folded comforter, staring up at the ceiling. He murmured their name and Y/N glanced over at him before springing up as soon as he extended the drawing. An exact copy of their face stared back at them, smiling at something that wasn’t in the drawing. Ponyboy blushed as they looked back up at him.

“You like it?”

Y/N grinned, nodding as they set the drawing aside to hold the sides of Ponyboy’s face and pepper kisses across his cheeks. He blushed again as they pulled away, only to bite their lip before giving him a soft kiss.

“Thank you,” they murmured when they pulled back. “For drawing me.”

Ponyboy nodded, his green-grey eyes flickering from their eyes to their lips. “Can I, can I kiss you again?”

Not even bothering to answer, Y/N leaned in for another kiss, smiling against Pony’s mouth.
