I would love so much to be able to buy one of your 3d model creatures but i feel like I wouldn’t be able to do anything with them! I have no idea how to use a lot of the 3d model programs.

Would it be worth learning them you think? Are there any alternatives more friendly for beginners? Every time i’ve tried learning it feels so overwhelming though. Idk.

But your creations are so adorably cool and I hope one day I can own one and do their design justice!

i'd say it depends, blender has a bit of a learning curve but it's not too hard to learn how to just load in a model and make some nice rendered images of it, but it def will still take a bit of time to learn. i'd suggest starting out just learning to do one with at a time, def makes it less overwhelming. i guess it depends on what you want to do and how badly to want to do it if it's worth the time it'll take to learn lol

also, thank you so much!! ;u;

Are AliExpress bjds any good? They're cheaper than most bjds I saw in other shops, but I would love to get one if it's worth it :0c

that very much depends, pretty much every single resin bjd you find on aliexpress is going to be a recast, which is basically a bootleg. these are usually of questionable quality, not to mention most bjd makers are small indie artists and recast are stealing designs from these small creators. BUT there are brands like penny's box, ufdoll and come4free that sell on aliexpress, plus nice non-bjd dolls like tinyfox and imomodoll. these dolls are made of plastic/vinyl instead of resin, plus they're mass produced which makes them WAY cheaper than a hand painted resin doll, and they're still nice quality! i very much recommend em

May I ask where did purchase your ball jointed dolls from?

depends which one you mean! my centaurs and the bonnie doll were bought on aliexpress, though you can also find em on kikagoods if u dont wanna wait forever for em lol. by little bunny girl peachy is from cocoriang, though the peach color was limited edition. and my sheep, cotton, is from sio2!

so ya'll know that pokemon with guns game palworld thats coming out soon? im pretttty sure most of the creatures are just made from cobbled together official pokemon models that were ripped from the games lmao. like, one of them is very clearly a goodra with meganium's head slappped on and lilligant's head flower stuck on top. another one is just a modified lycanroc model with the rocks removed and colored black and white.

like i'd have to look at the models side by side to be sure but it uh. its pretty blatant in a lot of cases.
