Some WIP and Stuff
FUUUUUUUCK. Tumblr is really fucking me on the lying about saving drafts and closing on me
To prove I'm not just making making TTRPG memes and shitposts masquerading as 'games' or whatever (I don't know if these will necessarily make that case, but they are are at least higher effort).
First we have
Hierarchies of Circles
This is a collection of 12-Word RPGs and stuff for as a dual entry for the 12-Word RPG Jam and the Anarchy in the Tabletop Jam.
The idea is to express my feelings and frustrations about anarchism and the some good, but largely bad, experiences I've had with online anarchists that have lead me to be more wary of calling myself an anarchist, working with eclecticist with anarchist dreams at the moment, in much the same way I call myself plant based, rather than vegan.
(I am chronically mentally and physical disabled, and online. So, I am included in online anarchists and have critiques of myself and previous tenderqueer/ wokescold positions I held - By this I mean reactionary tendencies and social policing beyond dealing with bigots and right wing fucks)
Thinking of including a one page version of You're a Hero, bringing the planned versions to three, because it fits the theme and Self ID is a core principle of my politics and worldview. There's no true freedom without freedom of identity, and our individual experience, understanding and presentation of it. I generally try to avoid the whole No True Scotsperson of it all, but there's no place in anarchism or the world for Queer/ transphobic or bigoted people of any kind, regardless of any other good or progressive views they might have (See the one about certain vegans above).
The last spread is the roughest and needs the most work, but I want to end on both a message about impending climate catastrophe inspired by Final Fantasy VII and a more chill, positive and reflective game about imagining an ideal world and the insights and perspectives the thought exercise can give you (regardless of the game, it's an mental exercise I thoroughly recommend to see how you really think about things and, what you do and don't know).
The Anarchy in the Tabletop jam ends in 20 days and I really need to finalise what I want to include and what I want to do with layout for it all because I just keep having ideas and have a whole lot to say and a lot of feelings about this subject.
Love, support and solidarity,
