TADC SPOILERS BELOW!!
YESSS I DID AND I LOVE IT!! I really like how much more this episode focused on the characters, and I love the new characters that were introduced! Especially Gummigoo my beloved ough...
I love how Ragatha does finger guns a lot kwkdsjrjr, and Jax ends up being a LOT more violent and aggressive in this episode, which kinda surprised me, and now my love/hate for him has turned into more hate LOL. Like I knew Gooseworx said he was gonna get worse but DAMN‼️ Also just like the previous episode, we didn't see much of Zooble in this one either. I really hope they get more screen time in the future!
My favorite scene was absolutely the scene where Gummigoo ends up under the map in that room with all the NPC models and realizes he's an NPC himself. It genuinely gave me goosebumps watching that. The animation and music in that scene was fucking spot on. The conversation he and Pomni have afterward really hit me, and I loved seeing this side of Pomni's personality.
Aaand then Caine had to make Gummigoo go POOF after all that character development AAAA 😭 I REALLY hope Gummigoo can reappear in a future episode but I highly doubt that'll happen. And even if he does, I'm sure it won't be the same Gummigoo we knew, with Caine reusing assets and all.
And lastly, Kafumo's funeral ough... That one hit me hard, too. Specifically how Pomni felt about it. Because at the beginning of the episode, she has that dream of her getting abstracted, and everyone leaves her behind, showing she's obviously anxious about surviving in the circus, and that the others don't care for her. BUT during that funeral scene we see her visualize her friends saving her, and that's when she realizes that she really does have friends that care for her and will be for her in this world, and I think that message is so strong and they showed that off perfectly.
Another thing about that vision, thought, whatever Pomni had, I'm like 99% sure that's Ragatha, Gangle, and Zooble's hands catching her. And that makes me think, what if this same scene shows up later in the story? Because those are 3 very specific people. I'm kinda like predicting here that something bad is gonna happen to Kinger, and Jax is gonna do something REAL shitty to the gang because at this point, I'm expecting it, even if I did notice that he does care a little and he's bottling up his emotions.
