What Are Psychedelics?


Psychedelics are psychoactive compounds that produce hallucinogenic and entheogenic effects. Hallucinogens cause alterations in sensory perceptions, while entheogens induce mystical experiences.

There are many different types of psychedelic drugs

including lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), psilocybin, mescaline, DMT, MDMA, ketamine, phencyclidine (PCP), 2C-B, and others.

1. DMT Vape

DMT is a psychedelic drugs that comes from the root of the peyote cactus. It is known to have profound effects on the mind and body. It is often referred to as the spirit molecule because of its ability to open people’s minds to spiritual experiences. It is commonly smoked in the form of vaporized crystals.

2. LSD Sheet

LSD is a powerful hallucinogen that was first synthesized in 1938. It is derived from lysergic acid amide (LSA). LSA is a naturally occurring chemical that occurs in certain fungi, especially in the genus ergot. Lysergic acid is produced by breaking down the fungus. LSD is a colorless crystalline solid that is soluble in alcohol and ether.

3. Liquid LSD

Liquid LSD is a concentrated solution of LSD that can be added to drinks or food. It is not recommended to consume it orally due to the risk of vomiting.

4. Ecstasy

Ecstasy is a psychoactive drug that was originally developed in 1912. It is a phenethylamine derivative of amphetamine. It is a popular recreational drug that produces feelings of euphoria, increased energy, empathy, and positive mood.

5. Aco-DMT

Aco-DMT is a combination of Acetaminophen and 5-MeO-DMT. It is a psychedelic substance that is extracted from the bark of the acacia tree. It is used primarily for shamanic purposes.

6. Suboxone

Suboxone is a prescription opioid painkiller that contains both buprenorphine and naloxone. Buprenorphine is a partial agonist at mu receptors and a full agonist at kappa receptors. Naloxone is an antagonist at mu receptors and a weak antagonist at kappa receptors. It is used to treat opiate addiction.

7. OxyContin

OxyContin is a brand name for oxycodone hydrochloride. It is a semi-synthetic opioid analgesic and antitussive medication. It is used to relieve moderate to severe pain.
