The hunting lodge
Hey, I want to ramble about the symbolism and foreshadowing in my art. ^
So first of all, the most obvious thing is that Alastor's head is positioned in a way that it looks like, he has antlers, and that has multiple meanings:
-> First, it obviously foreshadows him being a deer demon.
-> Second, it also foreshadows his death, where he was shot because a hunter confused him with a deer, that's also why it could be viewed as his head being a trophy.
Next, we have the deer skulls next to him. I put them there so they look like "sidekicks" or something like that, BUT the importat part is that they represent Niffty and Husk, since their antlers resemble the prominent features of the two. The curve of Niffty's hair and Husk's eyebrows.
Also the fire could "foreshadow" him "burning in Hell".
Also the overall compositon is very much suggesting a power dynamic between the person who we see the point of view of and Alastor. It's like a cat playing with it's food (take that metaphorically or literally lol).
I'm sorry if I spoiled it or something, but not many people seem to notice these things and I just wanted to tell people about these things, since symbolism and composition and all that jazz is something I take great interest in. :) My other art also has similar stuff hidden in there (not all of my art but those I put actual effort in.)
