Between Us Episode 9 Commentary and Review

People check on your Between Us friends. We are not okay!!! That's it. That's my commentary.

Seriously. I adore the fact that Dean saw Team's nervousness before Win and because he cares. He pointed it out. He didn't point it out because that's Win's boyfriend. It's because he cares about him regardless.

Then the way Win took him aside and cheered him on. We see big growth here in the relationship with Team actually telling Win, you got to actually be there. You can't disappear. This was a huge step for Team and though Win smiled, he recognized it.

The contrast of the two families and yet the similarities. We see a warm welcome from Team's parents, but a coldness that freezes from Win's dad. Yet the dinner table both showcased and awkwardness but for different reasons.

I thought it was adorkable that he slept with his parents.

I can't with this mom. I have had miscarriages, but don't know the pain of losing an older child. And am incredibly grateful that I've never lost a child. I don't even want to imagine, so no, I can't fully grasp the pain, and I'll own that. However, you can't expect a child to have the brain of an adult. She had no reason or right to blame him in the first place. Instead of leaning on the one person who is in as much pain as her, she's causing more pain for them both.

Win really brought his Dom this episode. Even the way he interacted with his family showcased how Dom he was. Then he brought his phone with him everywhere. He immediately answered and then drove through rain to get to him. If someone doesn't do a Phayu and Win driving through rain Gif, I'm gonna be sorely disappointed. Just saying.

Then the after care that Win gave. It was chief's kiss. But I'm not okay and I don't think I will be until next week. 💜💜💜
