I read that Yai sub dropped in E3 (Big Dragon) but I looked it up and google says it's an intense head swim-y feeling and I don't think that's what Yai felt... at least he didn't look it. Compared to like Pete with the licking his own arm. What do you think?

Head space is different for everyone but is generally considered to be an altered state of consciousness, in which you float away. It is a state of mind where endorphins and adrenaline take over the mind and produce a morphine like effect.
Sub drop is the emotional and physical effects of the release and drop of endorphins in the body after hitting a head space. It can, if not properly handled go on for weeks. Which is why immediate aftercare must be done. A sub drop doesn't just go away without care.
Pete licking his own arm and leaving the world behind was him hitting a head space. Honestly the mess he was after being re-chained likely was a combo of flashbacks, past abuse, and sub drop.
Yai did not achieve a head space so could not have had a sub drop. Hitting a head space is not as easy as many think it is. Because it requires the Dom or sadist to mentally effect you. A sub really has to just let go of all control to achieve it and that is a lot harder than you guys think.
