The It Lives Project

This is not really a question, but I just wanted to say this: you really did God's work.

ILITW has always been my favourite book in Choices ever since it came out, no other story made me feel that way. I replayed it so many times, I loved Lucas more than any other LI, characters, the story... it was perfect. And I was always so devastated that PB made so many sequels for books that are awful in my tastes, but only made two books for It lives. I accidentally discovered your project because one person commented about it on Choices' instagram post, after years of replaying ILITW.

I am not lying to you when I say I had the goofiest smile on my face playing the first few chapters. As soon as I saw how many customization options there is for MC (and MCs are so so so pretty too!!) instantly, I was like "Okay someone cooked here." And you did not disappoint :,D !!!

You are geniuses. You filled the void left by PB in so many hearts, you gave us the closure we desperately needed... you gave people what they wanted! There were so many moments when I was in utter shock because of how perfect this story was. You did such amazing job, better than an entire studio. It's like you knew exactly what I desired, it was crazy playing it!!!

And I could really see how much hard work was put into this, and it was even nonprofit ...

I will always be awed by you guys. Always.

I don't want to put anyone down but this needs to be said- Choices stories nowadays are such a let down. The target audience changed completely, almost everything is spice with no good plot. So you have no idea how happy you made me, because this is everything I want and more in a visual novel game. From slowburn romance, to so much branching and so many options and endings...

You guys really cooked with Abel btw ;)) all the love interests and the romance is so well written, I was swinging my feet in the air and blushing.

I will replay this probably dozens of times.

I think you should be very proud of what you did. I love you, and I will be externally grateful for what you did.

This might be utter wishful thinking and stupidity on my part but:

In the Judas Kiss epilogue where MC has romanced Lincoln before leaving him for Matthias, we see there’s a lot of anger in Lincoln. Noah and Connor can see how angry he’s become and we see him with the waiter. But there’s a moment later where Lincoln begs MC to come back to him right before Noah shows up. He pleads with them and touches their face.

That little scene got me wondering, is Lincoln’s begging just a distraction for Noah or is there a part of him that genuinely wanted MC to return to him? Say that in an alternate universe, Judas Kiss MC regrets their choices and actually wants to atone. If MC had agreed to go with Lincoln or had begged for forgiveness in that scene, could they have been “forgiven” by Lincoln or was his rage so great that it was all just a ruse?

And if MC did want to atone, how would that look like? Would they even be allowed to live long enough to do so? Could anyone (especially Lincoln) ever trust them again and restart a friendship / relationship?

I finished it in one sitting… is that bad? I don’t care I was too invested and it was my 2 days off work😜😜 I’m still going through other routes but I love this story so bad

which mc do you think connor and noah like best/felt the closest to? i feel like gen!mc and connor are super similar, so i like to think of them as having a kind of sibling dynamic

im halfway thru ilw and I just wanted to tell u guys that it is the most amazing fan project I have ever seen. it's crazy, it's actually SO MUCH better than a regular choices game, with amazing mechanics and an actual commitment to marginalized players (can't get over the plus size, top surgery and hijabi options!!). all the new characters are wonderful, but im especially obsessed with the way the old characters are written (every scene with ava is just *chef's kiss*). the story is sooo compelling and it's genuinely so funny. i cannot thank you guys enough for this incredible project. i hope the lives of the ilw team are filled with nothing but joy and prosperity. if ilw has no fans I am dead.

I just binged the full story in two days and I'm both fulfilled and emotionally drained AHH thank you so much for making this and congratulations on such an amazing work of art!! as a serial all-LI romancer who's used to no consequences, I audibly gasped when horror!connor called my mc a slut and it hurt so good when abel reacted to mc holding hands with lincoln and lost relationship points!! amazing love all of you hope the universe is kind to you forever

I had the most horrifying dream last night

scared 😟 I dreamt pb basically commandeered ilw and began charging diamonds for bad scenes 😭😭😭

I was VERY upset about Pixelberry cancelling the It Lives Series but after reading ILW I realized it was a blessing in disguise. I don’t think anyone would have done the entire story justice the way your team did. It’s literally the best (non)Choices game there is and one of the best IF games I’ve played. Kudos to you guys, really!

If you only dropped a link or somewhere where we could possibly pay you for the incredible game I’m sure there would be a lot of us who would be more than willing to give!

Hi! i tried to download the mac version for my macbook but when i try to open it it says that it cannot open it because apple cant see if there is any malware on it and suggests to move the app in the trash. is there any way to fix this?

Hello I just play the game and for some reason Danni doesn't exist in the intro(when you choose a fate of the characters), is this a bug or intentional. And can you fix it? If not it's okay I'm just wondering
