This was part of a series of concerts featuring local bands put on by local “alternative rock” station WFNX. Since they were aimed at arriving college freshmen, the shows were all outdoors/all-ages. I got to see maybe 10 different bands over the course of two days, and that was the start of my obsession with local/indie music.
