Its okay if you struggle with keeping your good habits and new years resolutions. Its alright if you miss a day and feel like this new habit will never stick. Just know that its okay to take breaks when trying to build a new habit, as it can often be overwhelming to force yourself to do something everyday when you aren't used to it yet. Try to do it maybe 2 times a week first, then 4 times a week, then every other day, and soon it'll be easier to do it everyday.

Its okay if you need a longer time to adjust to new things than other people, its okay if you need a little more time to get used to new things, its alright if you take a bit longer to feel comfortable and familiar with new places, people and things. Dont rush yourself and take all the time you need to process everything. Sometimes the mind needs a little more time to take things in, and to let it sink in.

Even when you're so hurt you never want to try again, even when you're so hurt that you don't feel anything at all, even when you're so hurt that you feel like you can't have hope ever again, even when you're so hurt you just want to isolate yourself and shut yourself out from the world, just know that the pain will ease.

If its not now, it will be soon. And its okay if not all the pain goes away immediately, little steps are fine too. Feeling less horrible day by day, healing more and more day by day, attempting to do and try more day by day. Even if the steps are so little that it feels like nothing is happening at all, you'll look back one day, and you'll know and feel how far you've come.

Dont forget to always forgive yourself at the end of the day. No matter how many mistakes you made, no matter how strict you were to yourself, no matter how angry you were at yourself or upset you were with yourself, at the end of the day, never forget to make peace with yourself. You can do something wrong, hold yourself acountable, and still be gentle with yourself.

Some days it feels like you're not improving at all, no matter how hard and how long you try. And this could be with anything, a new hobby you're trying, new habits you try to maintain or maybe lessons you're trying to learn yourself. Even if it feels like you're not going forward, even if it feels like you're never going to be better, remember when you first started and why. Remember the first day you tried and try to imagine how far you've come already. Its okay if your progress with certain things seems to go slow, progress will always be progress. From here on, you can only grow and do better. No matter how slow, no matter how small the change.

People will still love you even when you're not at your best, people will still love you even if you're not perfect, people will still love you even if you mess up and make a mistake, people will still love you when you're not feeling like yourself at a certain moment, people will still love you even if you don't love yourself.

People will still love you, no matter the circumstances. There will always be someone that loves you, even if you don't realize it right now.

its okay if you have trouble fully loving yourself. and its okay to start small with attempts to love yourself. start liking yourself 5 percent first, then as you go along, it becomes easier. do what you would do for someone you love, for yourself. If you would be chocolate for your loved one, buy chocolate for yourself. If you would cook dinner for your loved one, try to cook a delicious dinner for yourself. Care for and look after yourself, be gentle and patient with yourself and the proces you're going through, all will be well.

Its okay if you're afraid of what the future might bring you. It might be scary because it's so unknown, full of mysteries and filled with new things you don't know how to cope with and handle yet. But just know that you don't have to be afraid, i always think of it like this: everything i don't know yet, might be a future thing im going to love. Thinking like this might take away a lot of stress and might even make you excited when having to deal with new experiences and future. Things like meeting new people, going to new places and learning new things.

Just know, that you're going to do great in the future.

Don't beat yourself up for it, you did the best you could at the moment to survive, and you did, and I'm proud of you for surviving. Sometimes its hard to see opportunities when you're focused on just making it through. Your time will come, a time where you feel like you can live and don't constantly have to survive and feel like every day is another hardship. Im proud at you for surviving.

Its okay if you dont have your whole life together by a certain age. Life is not a script you should follow in order to have everything be perfect (without it containing any changes whatsoever). You still have time to learn, you still have time to love, you still have time to find out, explore and see. Don't be afraid to take your time to achieve your goals and shape your life the way you want it, but also don't forget to stop and enjoy the beauty you might find on the way.

Its okay if you're not who you thought you would be, take all the time to grieve the person you tried so hard to become when you wanted to better yourself and learn from your past mistakes. But its also okay to just love the person you are now and learn to get to know that person better. There is no shame in being who you are, even if you still have a lot to learn. You don't always have to upgrade yourself, sometimes there is peace in appreciating who you are and what you have right now.

Setting a goal doesn't always have to be something big you want to achieve in 10 years. Sometimes your next goal is for tomorrow and its getting out of bed, sometimes your next goal is for in an hour and its cleaning your room. Its okay to start and think small when it comes to having goals. Just remember to take one step at a time and try not to rush yourself.

Its okay if you have a hard time losing bad habits. Its okay if its hard to drop them immediately all at once and its okay if you don't know how to quit them at all. Its okay to take small steps towards your goals and even if you fall back, just know that that doesn't mean all the progress you made completely vanishes. There is always time to continue, even if you need to take a little break. And its more than okay to ask for help from others whenever you need it!
