Using mold as *art*
I’m making an erasure poem for each entry in the Encyclopedia. Here I’m using turmeric and beet paint to dye a page, along with a fun mold spore
I used melting beads (the iron kind) and heated them in the oven. I’m erasing an entry from the Encyclopedia A-Z. The door is a symbol to me of being closed off, trapped. But when you open the door, there might be a million beautiful things beyond. It’s hard to walk through that door and be yourself. 🌈

I’m making a blackout poem for every letter in the alphabet using the Encyclopedia as found text! Today’s poem comes from the entry for “Burns”. The poem reads:
Burns
In a normal
commonplace
wound
the face falls off
after it dries
It is particularly useful
loss and pain
may increase
scar formation
for grafting
limits the formation of
lost
loss
and so there is a danger
Conveniently placed beaker

Petition to refer to TERFs as FARTs, which stands for Feminist Appropiating Reactionary Tranaphobe

“Trans-Exclusionary-Radical-Feminist,” when you think about it, is a VERY kind term. To be called a TERF is for the person to admit that they still consider you a feminist.
But what kind of feminist excludes so many women from their movement? If you hate so many women for what they are, you really don’t deserve to be called any kind of feminist, radical or otherwise.

I like this new term better. It accurately captures the implicit bigotry of excluding trans people while also not dignifying hateful people with the epithet “feminist”, which they do not deserve.
