From Fisherman to Famous
A Sims 4 challenge created by Flowur the Weirdo

You come from a long line of fishermen. Generations upon generations of your family have made their living from fishing. Your parents expect you to follow in their footsteps. You love fishing and you want to please your parents, but you secretly long for something more… something different… something unknown. So, you leave them behind and head out on your own.
Finding yourself alone and penniless, you do what you know best: you fish. One day while fishing you reel in a mysterious trunk; inside the trunk is a violin. You pick up the violin and start to play, suddenly something inside you clicks and you know this is what you've been missing your entire life: music.
You spend your days and nights split between fishing and learning to play your violin. You still don't want to disappoint your parents, so you won't stop until you prove that you are an Angling Ace.
Once you reach that goal you realize people are starting to recognize you for your violin skills. So, you set a new goal for yourself: become a Musical Genius and from there become a global superstar to prove to your parents that there is more to life than fishing.
Goals:
-Complete Angling Ace aspiration
-Complete Musical Genius aspiration
-Complete Fish Collection
-Win 3 Starlight Accolade awards
-Write 10 songs and publish/sell them
Rules:
-Create a Sim with the following traits:
Gloomy, Paranoid, and Loves Outdoors.
-once you find the violin change the Gloomy trait to Creative.
-once you reach 3-star celebrity level change the Paranoid trait to Self-Assured.
-once you have a house worth 20,000 Simoleons change the Loves Outdoors trait to Music Lover.
-Start in an empty lot with no money
-You can do anything for money, but until the Angling Ace is completed you can’t do anything that will gain fame, except for playing the lotto. This includes befriending or dating famous people. (To make this easier you can opt out of fame)
-You must fish up a violin. (If you can’t find one after the Angling Ace is completed you can buy one.)
-If you don’t like the violin, you can swap it out for a guitar (or piano/keyboard)
-Once the Angling Ace is complete, you can only earn fame by playing the violin (or guitar). Playing the lotto is the only exception. Once again, no befriending or dating famous people.
-If your Sim becomes pregnant (alien or otherwise) you must keep the baby/babies
-Must win 3 Starlight Accolades awards for written songs.
-You may get a job, but it may be easier to busk and write songs for a living.
-Write 10 songs and sell them.
