I actually really do think it's sick to make Palestine about celebrities and their woke points. Like block if you want but it literally means nothing and will not help anyone at all and is in fact just buying holistically into celebrity culture! Don't pretend it's praxis or activism, it's just celebrity wars painted up.

Making Palestinian genocide about how cool you are for blocking Eddie from Stranger Things or whatever is insane behavior sorry!

I am not hopeful enough to think that celebrities DON'T affect our current world, but I also know enough about literally every era in history to know that what they DON'T do is change the minds of politicians. Planning an entire campaign around blocking people that, YES, should be doing more just centers them further when they should be de centered entirely Imho! Focus on where the change will actually come from. This is a massive and ridiculous waste of energy AND it just tells celebrities that they are better than us and that their opinions matter more. Fuck all the way off.

Hi! My classmate and I really enjoy your "Interview with an angel" comic with the infographics being a key component in the narrative. I was wondering if we could use your work in our class workshop/presentation with credit? I also wanted to ask about your thought process/thoughts on the piece if you are willing to share! Thank you so much!

Sure, you can use it! My initial inspiration was seeing wig cap directions illustrated with a cartoon woman. I thought that she would be a good character for a comic. Then I thought about what other raw elements I could use to flesh out the comic and settled on diagrams with thin black line art similar to the wig cap directions. Since the character I had isn't really conducive to movement, I decided the diagrams would change from panel to panel but they would be illustrating different aspects of the same static scene. Having the comic be the first person perspective of an entity who perceives the world similarly to diagrams seemed like the best framing device and the narrative grew out of that.

Allison finally gets everything she wants and it isn't enough. She has her daughter and her husband and she even has her powers and she still has a black pit in her stomach because she lost so much to get here and the feeling of those losses claws at her every waking moment. How painful is it to look at your daughter and know she isn't enough to make you better?

Klaus finally loses his powers and it's the day he came to love them and he gets his peace and it is terrifying and it comsumes him because he is the only person on earth that KNOWS how fundamentally painful death is and also God hates him and he is ALONE and that is secretly what was always the actual Klaus torture.

They both have exactly what they always wanted and it is not enough because you cannot cheat your way into being a healed person. Smiles.

Actually I'm not done.

Luther gets his body back to how it was before the trauma but the hurt remains and he quite literally feels weaker and lost the woman who accepts him for him.

Diego is a hero! He saved the world. He has a partner and a child. And yet he is now just ordinary and he cannot take it.

Ben is alive! And alone! And hated!

Five saved his family, he saved the world, he gets to retire. Except he finds that the world isn't good just because it's saved, and he finds that something is missing.

Viktor gets his revenge. His family are all ordinary. But at the price of his own ordinaryness.

Lila gets her man, her child, her freedom from her mother and the commission. She loses her new family, her sense of power, her sense of self.

I love that they cannot just move forward. Something wonderful is how their powers represent their trauma. They can't leave it behind. They have to pick it up and learn to LIVE with it or they cannot be happy.

The horrible tragedy of getting what you want.

Pretty obvious that the emojis represent each season. What are we thinking they mean? I'm especially interested in the two lock emojis. Maybe those are secret? Or, wait, didn't the poster say something about Ben's release? Also we are defo getting floating Klaus. Look at those bare feet. Look at that pose.

It's a shame that the 80s brought simultaneously the faggiest clothes (good)and the worst music (terrible).
