Desiree Peterkin Bell

Desiree Peterkin Bell later became the Vice President of Government Affairs for NYC Marketing, New York City's marketing development corporation. In this role, she was responsible for securing multi-million dollar sponsorships for the city from companies such as Universal Studios, General Motors, The Latin Grammys, and The Country Music Awards. She is the Director of Communication for the Booker Administration in Newark, New Jersey. She would go on to build an award-winning twenty-first-century communications network that spanned platforms as the team's youngest senior official, and she is credited with the rise of Cory Booker's powerful social media presence.
