Does it feels weird that intentionally (as far as I understood), you made fanart on ENNEAD, but now there are bunch of kemetic Set worshippers constantly reblog your works?

Not at all!

For one my art is open to interpretation. The artwork can represent something different to every person looking at it and that's perfectly fine with me. I'm really happy that they move you all. πŸ₯°

Furthermore, I have a paganistic faith myself and have the utmost respect for faiths and gods of all kinds. I'm also fascinated by the history and legends behind them, which is why I like to browse your pages from time to time.

You faving and reblogging my art makes it easier for me to find you.

You should also be aware that even though Ennead is a BL Manwha, the author Mojito herself is very deep into ancient Egyptian mythology and skilfully incorporates many aspects of it into the story. Plus, she openly inquires her readers to engage with the real life myths, which I really like. (Warning: If you want to read it, be aware that the story also deals with very dark and heavy topics).

And apart from all that, I too have a small Egyptian shrine with a focus on Seth. I like that little bit more chaos in my life. And that little extra protection against getting a nervous breakdown from it. So it may very well be that in addition to Ennead fanart, you'll also see more general art of Egyptian gods in the future. (See the 3D file of the Seth animal for example)

TL;DR: You are welcome here to see the art however you want. πŸ€—

My friend started reading ENNEAD, too.

She asked me to draw a Seth animal (not the character, but the creature that the Egyptian god is β€œbased” on). So my hand slipped.

I am not entirely happy with how this turned out. BUT it is the first colored painting I've done in a long time so I wanted to celebrate this by posting it, even if it’s just a concept for now.

Anatomy and coloration are based on a Rhynchocyon petersi, an Okapi, an aardvark and a doberman dog. All is subject to change as this design may be used for future pictures. Maybe I will turn him completely black or reddish-brown after all. Now off to bed with me.
