That is fucking sick. Are there any unconventional uses that the abilities have or ways Ben may use them outside of their normal function?

besides the main draw of immobilizing the opponent he'd also be able to create defensive structures & alter the terrain (though it requires high concentration & energy cost/ even more if it's a complex structure) think of blox but slower construction but HIGH durability

constructed coral could also be used as impromptu weapons & tools if broken off (this also applies to enemies)

though situational, he'd also be able to partially bury himself into the ground & use his body as camouflage (this only works in aquatic regions)

Oh that's awesome, I'm kinda imaging him as similar to Diamondhead power wise but movements similar to cannonbolt (when he's not curled up). What sort of size is he? And if would it be possible for him to use the spinning legs to kick up dirt as a smokescreen of sort if he's in danger? (Like against a natural predator if the species has one) also if my questions bug you I will stop I just love hearing about the powers fan made aliens have

no worries you're completely fine, I love gushing about my interests! I imagine him to be a bigger alien, though not towering (like cannonbolt height roundish) & that makeshift smokescreen ability is actually a really good idea. It complements nicely with his slower speed (when on land), bigger size & gives him more stealth options! I could also imagine him ramming the opponent underwater & trapping them within his body to get them underwraps.

Now for weaknesses, I'd believe he'd be sensitive to extreme temperatures, similar to real life coral but to the higher extremes (he wouldn't die due to a degree difference like real coral). Obviously his slow speed would also make him a bad pursuit alien on land & his weight could also be a problem (he'd be a good bit on the hefty side). He'd probably also not be a great choice with dealing with species that consume rocks & minerals since I'd think he'd be a very appetizing meal due to his high nutritional value (compared to other minerals) as he's a living organism (though this probably could be used to some sort of advantage..).
