AKAASHI: bookstore and museum dates. will always bring you flowers to every date and anniversary you both have. gives you forehead kisses. uses i love you as a way to say thank you; like you bringing him a cup of coffee while he’s working, he’ll blink up at you with tired eyes that glimmer on the sight of you, he proceeds to murmur out an “i love you” with a smile on his face. every event that involves you such as your birthdays, anniversaries, or proposals are planned months prior because he wants everything to be perfect.

OSAMU: cooks you every meal you love. studies every recipe of your fave meal and will not sleep until he masters them. will call you darling and sweetheart. his cool and laidback facade will immediately crumble on the sight of you, and suddenly the look on his face screams love. will teach you how to cook with his chest pressed on your back, his hands over yours to guide you. midnight snacks!! the both of you has a thing for staying up all night just to find each other eating food on bed or in the kitchen at the latest hour. sometimes, when you’re asleep too early, he’ll be the one to wake you up with a deep murmur on your ear asking if you want to have a bite with him just to make sure you’re not missing out on the food.

YAMAGUCHI: every little thing about you means a lot to him. will always put you first before himself. he knows what your favorites are simply just by looking at the expression on your face and the way you act. his love language is probably acts of service and giving gifts. he really loves to spoil you. he looks at you like you’re his most prized possession. he’s extremely gentle and soft around you, he couldn’t find himself to raise his voice at you—he always happen to shiver upon the thought.

BOKUTO: is absolutely head over heels for you. will give you the biggest hugs anyone had ever given you. he’s your number one fan. everytime he gets interviewed and someone asks what his inspiration is, your name will always come out from his lips. will unashamedly point at you before he does a serve in a game like he’s saying, this is for you (~~and fails, woops~~). has a box where he keeps pictures of you and souvenirs from your dates in it. he knows his body is huge and full of muscles, however, from time to time you’ll wake up from feeling a huge weight on top of you as his whole body lays over your figure—in which everytime you try to move his body away, he’ll always whine and come back to where he’s all over you.

SUNA: lazy make out sessions in bed are always a thing. stoic on the outside, clingy on the inside. will always be a big baby for you. has a lot of videos and pictures of you in his phone, he probably has more content of you rather than himself in his own gallery. he’s your personal photographer and he’s actually good at taking pictures. he knows every angle of you and every angle that you think looks nice on you. his hand will always hold yours. he’s the sneaky one in your relationship. he loves to occasionally tease you just to see the flustered look on your face. will whine when you don’t hug him back, “pleeaaseee?” this is the same deadpanned suna rintaro we’ve been seeing i swear.

KUROO: his hands are always all over you. he loves showing himself off to you because he knows he’s all that. everytime your figure comes to his sight, it’s either a smirk or a loving smile appears upon his face there’s no in between. he absolutely loves showing you off to everyone, while he’s speaking to someone, he’ll naturally have an arm around you like it’s a habit of his (it actually is). does that thing where whenever you’re seated next to him he’ll have his arm resting on your chair’s backrest behind you. does his paperwork with you sitting on his lap. absolutely loves it when you fall asleep on him as he’s working. lets you go to his office with the excuse of you bringing him his lunch. separating work and personal life? what’s that? there’s none of that in kuroo tetsuro’s dictionary.

TSUKISHIMA: i hate everyone in the world but you. his taste on music is top tier, he secretly loves making playlists about you and probably has a hundred songs in one playlist but doesn’t admit it. your smile makes his day, no joke. he’s absolutely in love with you. teases you everyday like there’s no tomorrow. you’re the only person he’ll lend his headphones to. looks through your social media accounts from time to time but will downright deny it when someone tries to confront him about it. he loves his dates with you peaceful and out of chaos, he just wants to spend time with you as if the two of you are the only people in the world.

KITA: so much cute domestic stuff going on here!! whenever you’re in the same place as him, he feels as if he’s having some peace in his life. to him, you’re like warmth coming from the sun. he absolutely thinks you’re the reason why his days feel so bright. he always wants to make sure you’re doing okay. to him, you’ll always come first. he notices the little things about you. when he feels something is off, he’ll quickly make his way to you so he could ask if you’re okay. grocery dates!! watching sunsets and the stars in the night with a warm blanket wrapped around your bodies, accompanied with your favorite beverage.

IWAIZUMI: the gentlest when it comes to you, it’s as if he’s handling something fragile. when he cares for you, he handles you with so much love and carefulness. he really hates it when you get hurt. he has like these instincts where he can just feel if you’re in trouble or something, and it’s a miracle. he’ll always walk on the outer sidewalk, never in his life will he let you be prone to danger. he loves it when you wear his clothes. will pull you to his lap every chance he gets and then shower you with kisses on the neck. he kisses you on the cheek everytime before a game because he thinks it’s good luck but he’ll never admit it to anyone. whenever you tease him for something he’ll only shake his head with a sigh and will say, “you’re lucky i love you.”

OIKAWA: super romantic dates!! you know, those rose petals on the floor, a large bouquet, fairy lights, a candle light on the table that’s covered with silk white cloth, and he appears on a tux with that flashy smile of his and he goes, “hi beautiful”. loves going shopping with you even if he doesn’t buy anything, he simply finds excitement in helping on choosing the right things for you and seeing you all happy about it in the process. movie marathons that’s suggested by him but he only uses it as an excuse to cuddle with you. a clingy baby with you and he’s not afraid to show it on public. when someone teasingly gags about it he’ll only reply with, “what? are you jealous? sucks to be you then!” and sticks a tongue out.

USHIJIMA: secretly practices writing love letters to you and hides it somewhere in his room. doesn’t have a preference for date locations, so he’ll always ask you where do you want to go and he’ll simply comply, as long as it’s a date with you. doesn’t complain when you let him wear flashy headdresses like the cat ears headband or those trendy frog hats. doesn’t mind carrying all the weight for you, he doesn’t like it when he sees you having a hard time. volunteers to carry your stuff and handles them with ease and gentleness. he gives you head pats!! and he does it only for you. whenever he comes across some random thing that reminisces him of you, he’ll take a quick snapshot of it then send it to you followed by a message that says, “this reminds me of you. i hope you’re having a great day honey.”

HINATA: he loves telling you so much about things, and at the same time, he loves listening to you ramble about literally anything. will stop riding his bike and instead walk next to you so he can walk you home, it also gives him more time to talk to you. ice cream dates!! so much warm hugs from him. he’s literally sunshine in human form. whenever he sees you his eyes just go bling! and then quickly sprints to you with a wide smile on his face calling out your name with so much joy.

KAGEYAMA: matching necklaces!! he keeps it tucked under his collar for protection and whenever it shows off and someone points it out, he’ll only reply with a blush and a mess of his words. he’s the definition of gentleman. he opens the door for you. carries your stuff. pulls your chair for you to sit. sacrifices his sweater for you to wear even if he’s feeling cold too. everyday after volleyball practice everyone will always see him quickly packing his stuff and sprinting off without a proper goodbye. and it’s actually just so he can see you quickly and spend quality time with you.

SAKUSA: you will be the only person who he will lend his hand sanitizers to. secretly loves holding your hand. his love language is probably quality time. he loves spending time with you and avoid the rest of the world forever. gives you soft touches on the arm. dates with him are either peaceful or chaotic there’s no in between. there will be one time where you’re peacefully sharing a conversation under the stars and another time where you’re in an amusement park and he’s trying so hard not to scream through the rides. either way, it’s all worth it when he gets to see your genuine smile after everything. your smile makes his heart run kilometers per second that he could embarrassingly hear and feel it beating through his body.

ATSUMU: he loves spending every moment of his time with you. he’s obsessed. gets jealous really easily and he uses volleyball to boast himself and cope with it. like after a service ace, his head will immediately turn to you with a smirk on his face that screams ‘yeah, i did that. that’s hot, right?’ he’s another one who knows he’s got it all. he slides an arm around your waist to pull you closer. loves showing you off by implying physical touch with you. straight up kisses you on the lips hard in the most unexpected situations. and then when he pulls away he looks at you with that smirk on his face as he pulls you impossibly closer to his body with that sneaky hand on your hip.

KENMA: streams with you sitting by his side, away from the camera’s view. and he just lets you sit there because he finds it more comfortable with you around—he partly uses that as an excuse to show himself off while gaming. hand holding under the table!! just so none of the viewers could see the pda. he likes keeping things private but not to the point of keeping his relationship a secret. he loves you. he seriously loves spoiling you too. cuddles with him last extremely long. leans onto you even more when he feels your hand combing through his hair. he’s the embodiment of a cat. really clingy with you in private. although that doesn’t stop him from being attached to the hip with you in public. he’s always holding your hand. and he’ll scowl at whoever dares to try and tease him for it.

TENDOU: there’s not one day where you’re not smiling and laughing because of him. being with tendou is always fun and chaotic. with him, it feels as if your fears fade away, literally. he encourages you to try new things and will motivate you to overcome your fears. he also loves messing with you like there’s no tomorrow. places his hand ontop of your head just to mess your hair up. your whines and glares only causes the grin on his face to widen. extremely clingy with you. pulls you close to his body so he can rub his cheek against yours affectionately. then proceeds to shower your face with playful kisses. your giggles and laughs gives him serotonin. he’s totally inlove, there’s no doubt.

KUROO: as soon as he sees you waiting for him on the couch even when the clock strikes midnight he swears he’s about to shed a tear soon,, he quickly strides his way to you and stares at you with a fatigued look, catching your attention as you glance up at him with a smile, “hi, tets—“ “i’m tired. take your hands off of that pillow and put your arms around me right now or else i’ll cry.”

AKAASHI: “hi honey, ‘m sorry i’m late”, he softly whispers out to your sleeping figure as he slides through the sheets next to you, taking you in his arms while you sleepily claim your place on top of his chest and akaashi deeply chuckles, his chest bursting with emotions while he lets his fingers entangle themselves with your hair, letting himself indulge in the peaceful and quiet night with you. even if he’s yet to see your face, the feeling of your presence and touch around him was enough to ease his stress for the day.

SAKUSA: grumbles as he opens the door to your shared bedroom once he’s done with his shower. droplets of water fall down from his curly black hair while a towel hangs loosely around his waist. his presence wakes you from your slumber, earning a soft groan from you as your eyelids slowly open and this makes him freeze, not really liking the way he woke you up on the middle of the night. “omi?” you murmur out and he was quick to sit on the side of the bed, “hey, sorry for waking you up- and for coming home late.. things got hectic during practice. but that doesn’t matter, go back to bed, i’m right here.” he says as he cups his hand over your cheek, using his thumb to softly rub against your soft skin as if to lull you back to sleep.

KITA: he opens the door to your shared bedroom so quietly and slowly, making sure not to wake you up as he makes his footsteps fall soft to the ground when he approaches the bed to where you were sleeping. and when he sees you, he swears you’re the most serene thing to ever come across his eyes. a longing smile naturally forms on his face as he quietly claims his place next to you, sitting over the sheets for a moment to admire your beauty before he’s leaning down to give a soft kiss on your forehead with his hand gently placing itself on top of your head. he lets his lips linger itself on your forehead as his next words come in a soft whisper, “i love you. sleep tight, my love.”

ATSUMU: fatigue came over him as he opens the door of your shared bedroom. yet his eyebrows quickly perk upon seeing your awakened state with you watching a random movie on your phone. noticing his presence, you look up to your boyfriend with that adorable smile on your face he loves so much. “tsumu!” you call out to him like a puppy seeing its’ owner and he swears he’s going to marry you someday. with a much wider grin on his face, he places himself on the bed next to you and he wraps his arms around your figure. he sighs in content as he nuzzles his face on the crook of your neck, and his next words come in a low murmur, “hey baby, ‘m home. finally home.”

WHAT THEY DO WHEN THEY’RE TOUCH STARVED

SUNA: stares at you wordlessly until you notice his desperate attempt, asking for you to cuddle with him when you’re completely on the other side of the room. choose to ignore him and he’ll have a huge fit by throwing a pillow over your direction with a groan. you better give him the affection he wants.

KAGEYAMA: is pretty shy with asking for your hugs so he rarely does them and chooses to ignore the feeling. and yet he never actually tries to stop himself from pulling you in his arms right then and there, especially when his sweater is draped over you. he’ll eventually stomp over your direction. and your heart melts when you see your boyfriend standing infront of you, fiddling his fingers as he stutters out the right words to ask for your hugs.

OSAMU: is pretty straightforward and bold with what he wants. you’re working on an assignment and next thing you know, you’re being lifted up by your boyfriend, taking you to bed without a word spoken. you decided to go along with his actions and lay there with his arms tightly wrapped around your waist, sending the both of you into deep sleep.

SAKUSA: actually plans it out in his head. he finds it so embarrassing but he really really really wants to feel you right now because he misses you so much and he just really really really wants to experience your warm hugs once again. and what does he do? he approaches you with an “oi” before asking your permission to hug him as he looks down shyly. he’s too adorable.

KENMA: he will itch and squint his eyes the moment he realizes how desperate he is for your touch. honestly tries to wear it off since he didn’t want to disturb you but, god, this day hits different. he will turn his back from the gaming console and look at you with pleading eyes. when you make eye contact, he’ll look away, waiting a few seconds before muttering if you wanted to sit on his lap as he plays.

TSUKISHIMA: no. just, no. he believes it’s so uncool for him to ask you for hugs and kisses. plus, it breaks his ego so suck it up ig lol. when he sees you hug yamaguchi as you greet them, he’s so pissed. so when you get your time alone, he’ll wordlessly tug your arm to pull you against his chest, cradling the back of your head with his hand while your cheek is smushed against him.

KUROO: oh he’s bold bold. it’s no doubt you literally have a big cat being snuggled against you, may he be cuddling behind you or by your side, a touch starved kuroo will never let anything go his way when seeking for your affection. it’s so chaotic lmao. he’ll have an arm wrapped around you everywhere you go as if he’s a part of your body, plus a wave of cheesy pick up lines that cringes you to the core. and the thing is, your boyfriend is touch starved everyday.

FALLING ASLEEP ON HQ BOYS

IWAIZUMI: accidentally sleeping during your car ride with him and he’ll quietly make his way to where you are on the passenger seat, carefully tucking his arms under your knees and back to carry you inside your abode without any intention of waking you up.

KAGEYAMA: falling asleep on his lap when he needs to get up, but he chooses not to simply because he doesn’t want to wake you from your sleep.

KITA: falling asleep on him halfway through the movie and when you wake up the next day, you notice you’re laid down on the couch with a pillow under your head, a blanket draped over your figure, and the delicious scent of your favorite breakfast reaching through your nostrils.

USHIJIMA: it was those times where you were extremely tired from work, going home and immediately succumbing yourself to the soft sheets of the mattress. your boyfriend happen to notice your tired state, seeing as you’ve already drifted to sleep. without further doubt, he takes responsibility of removing your makeup, changing you in your pajamas, and properly tucking you in bed without the intention of waking you.

AKAASHI: softly reading a book to you as you fall asleep halfway through the story with his hand holding yours.

BOKUTO: accidentally falling asleep on him in the living room and when you wake up you’re laid down on the mattress in your shared bedroom with a blanket covering your body and the scenery of him beside you with his strong arms around your figure.

SUNA: falling asleep with your head on his lap while he’s being occupied with something such as having a conversation with someone, watching a movie, scrolling through his phone, etc. as he’s stroking and playing with your hair.

KUROO: comes home to you sleeping on the couch as a smile forms upon his face. he takes his position next to the couch, sitting on the floor while his hand finds yours, intertwining them as he pulls your hand near his face where he lets his lips linger against the softness of your skin, and he looks you with an affectionate gaze, finding ease under your peaceful state.

SUGAWARA: hums out a low and lulling tune as you both lay in bed, his body positioning sideways with his cheek resting against his fist, gazing upon your sleeping figure longingly.

HINATA: falling asleep to him babbling about his day during the late hour of the night—and when he sees your closed eyelids as he speaks in the middle of his sentence, he quickly silences himself, letting out a tiny smile and using his arms to encircle your figure to pull you closer to him as he snuggles himself against you.

KENMA: falling asleep as you sit on his lap while he’s in the middle of playing and he turns down the volume of the game, the sound of buttons tapping now gentler and more silent as soon as he notices your slow and steady breaths from his shoulder.

TSUKISHIMA: he stays up late at night completing his assignment/s with one hand as you sleep on the bed right next to his desk with his other hand intertwined with yours.

OIKAWA: “my sweetheart,” he coos, mumbling out his compliments to you against your neck that’s followed by soft pecks of lingering kisses, and he breathily chuckles everytime he does so, as if he’s been struck by cupid’s bow each second he’s in your presence. “my sweet angel.”

SAKUSA: “you know,” his words come out in a low murmur as one of his hands find place on the side of your head, letting his thumb gently rub itself against the softness of your skin. “you’re the best thing that has happened to me.” he admits, and a rare smile forms on his face as he lets his eyes find art upon your features.

AKAASHI: “i’ll tell you a secret.” he whispers on the side of your ear as you lay on him with your back pressed against his chest. you sense his lips nearing your ear, his warm breath sending shivers through your spine. “i think, i’m inlove with you. too inlove. but maybe not just too inlove, maybe i’m actually head over heels for you, knees weakened, heart beating rapidly, fingers itching to hold yours—or maybe it’s just that i love you too much that words couldn’t measure how much i love you to the bottom of my heart. and i think i could never stop myself from adoring you even more.” he whispers with a smile gracing upon his features, teasingly blowing on your ear with softness. “that’s my secret.”

ATSUMU: everytime he looks at you, he couldn’t stop the lovesick grin forming upon his face. you watch as he bites back the obvious smile, his upper teeth fighting its’ place as it digs itself on his bottom lip, and he could only apologize half heartedly as he buries his face onto the pillows while his hand remains on your cheek. his chuckles come out in a muffle and he feels his heart beating rapidly while you just lay there bewildered upon his questionable state. he takes a peek of you on one eye as half of his face remains buried against the pillow, and now, he couldn’t stop the grin on his face that has his teeth showing as he laughs, “god, sorry baby. you’re just so adorable it’s unbelievable. it’s actually unbelievable how someone like you is laying on my arms right now.”

BOKUTO: “you’re mine right?” he asks with a smile on his face as his arms tighten its’ hold around you. he’s being extremely giddy and clingy with you while he places playful pecks all over your face. “yes, you’re mine!” he unashamedly answers his own question in a cheer, nuzzling his cheek against yours as he pulls you against his body impossibly closer that leaves no gap between you two.

YAMAGUCHI: “you know, you make me feel scared sometimes,” he admits solemnly, his eyes drifting to look at anything but you as a sad smile appears upon his face. “i’m scared that you’ll leave me someday, in which everyday i pray that i’m good enough for you so you’ll only have to look at me and not anyone else.” he says, and after a moment, he finally has the courage to let his eyes drift to gaze upon you, eyeing you with so much affection yet sadness while his hold on your hand tightens even more as if he’s afraid to let you go. he leans closer to you and he gives you a soft peck on your forehead, letting his lips linger there for a while as his next words come out in a murmur, “that’s how much you mean to me honey.”

IWAIZUMI: he stares at your sleeping state in silence, finding comfort in the way you’re under his arms in the middle of the night as he couldn’t seem to have any plans of sleeping when you’re this beautiful under his gaze. a tiny smile graces upon his face while he intakes every feature of you. and soon enough, he couldn’t stop the chuckle escaping from his lips that leaves him to lean down to land a soft peck on the side of your head with a smile, “god, you’re the only person to make me feel this way. what the hell are you doing to me?”

USHIJIMA: couldn’t help but keep staring at you with eyes that speak more than words. his gaze never leaves you when you move at one place to another. and when you question him of his actions, he blinks at you for a moment, keeping silent. and then he finally, stoically reveals with a rare blush on his face, “i just think you’re very alluring that i couldn’t find myself to take my eyes off of you. i apologize, was i perhaps making you uncomfortable?”

KENMA: he comes to a point where he couldn’t hold himself back from being clingy for you. constantly, when he’s initiating physical contact with you he’ll tell out trivial statements such as “you’re so warm, i don’t mind using your lap as my own pillow” or “your hands. they’re nice. i should keep holding them so people can avoid touching it.” and whenever you try to contradict to his statements, he’ll only shoot back with a “but they’re mine. i thought you already knew i don’t like sharing what’s mine?”

SUNA: an immediate reaction from him is his two arms lazily draping around your figure. his soft hand slowly pats your back to lull you deeper to sleep. then kissing your hairline as he closes his eyes too, a small content smile gazing over his features while he continues to caress your back, slowly drifting to sleep with you.

KENMA: you know he’s been playing his switch the moment you even walked into his room. he shyly settles for a more comfortable position as you take your place on top of him. “hi kyanmaa,” “h-hi..” he’s so flustered omg. it takes him a moment before realizing you’re already sleeping. against his chest. on top of him. basically it takes him thirty minutes to recover from his flustered mode before shyly nuzzling his nose against your hair.

KUROO: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). you know how smug this mfer could get. he doesn’t even hesitate to pull you impossibly closer to his body while he’s the one to try to keep you awake just for the laughs. that is, until he finally gives up when he sees how your eyebags are basically popping out. he’ll hold the back of your neck to nuzzle your head on the side of his jawline, telling you to have a peaceful nap and rest.
